Titanium
Titanium is absolutely immune to environmental attack, regardless of pollutants. Where other metals exhibit limited lifespan, titanium endures. The specific gravity of titanium is 4.51 g /cm3 - about 60% that of steel, half that of copper and 1.7 times that of aluminum. In addition to having excellent mechanical strength (comparable to mild steel), titanium is durable and shock resistant. Its modulus of elasticity (a measure of strain rate) is half that of stainless steel.

Ti Grades 1-4 are Pure Ti.
Pure Ti is used due to its high corrosion resistance and alloyed because of its high strength to weight ratio
  • Grade 1 - Pure Ti, relatively low strength and high ductility. (Plate heat exchangers)
  • Grade 2 - Pure Ti most used. Good combination of strength, ductility, and weldability. (Piping systems, vessels)
  • Grade 3 - High strength, used for Matrix-plates in shell and tube heat exchangers.
  • Grade 5 - Most common Ti alloy. High strength and high heat resistance. (Aerospace and Oil &Gas, Medical)
  • Grade 7 - Superior corrosion resistance in reducing and oxiding environments. (Chemical Industry)
  • Grade 9 - High strength and corrosion resistance. (Hydraulic piping)
  • Grade 23 (6-4Eli) - Greater ductility and fracture toughness compared to Gr 5.

  • Titanium General Products
Titanium products include titanium wire, bar, sheet, tube, strip, and foil. which are widely used in aerospace, sports, petrochemical and other industrial applications. Titanium parts made by machining, casting and forging, include a variety of bolts, nuts, washers, flanges, connectors, elbows, medical parts which are widely used in motorcycle, bicycle, car, medical, aerospace, and petrochemical industrial applications.
